My first home computer was a TRS-80 Model I, that I bought in 1980. It came with 16K of memory, and it loaded and saved software painfully slowly, using an audio-cassette, and had legendarily low-resolution black and white graphics of 128 pixels by 48 pixels. Still, it was a very capable computer for its day, and there were a ton of applications and games. The games had to impress with gameplay, since it was very hard with those specs to impress with visuals.
Eventually I added more memory and floppy drives. Around 1983 or 1984 I replaced it with a TRS-80 Model 4, which was faster, had a better screen, and had 128K of memory.
