TRS-80 Hardware

GemQuest was designed to work on the following computers:

• TRS-80 Model I with 48K memory
• TRS-80 Model III with 48K memory
• TRS-80 Model 4 with 64K or 128K memory (running in Model III mode)

(GemQuest takes advantage of special characters on the Model III/4, and the faster processor of the Model 4.)

TRS-80 Emulators

GemQuest is a large and intensive game, and may not work perfectly in all emulators. GemQuest has been tested and found to work well on:

• The trs80gp emulator by George Phillips (tested in version 2.1.0) (see See Running GemQuest Using trs80gp)
• The trs32 emulator by Matthew Reed (tested in version 1.28)
